With Melbourne Music Week fast approaching on 17-25 November; parties, events, panels, gigs and more will be happening through the week, one worth checking out is the ZOO Laneway Party taking place on Saturday November 25th.

Now in its fifth year, the party will see some of Australia’s best acts, from Briggs to Alexander Nut & Fatima (a brew of bass heavy sounds of hip hop and soul with house and dubstep) to 30/70 (boom-bap, neo-soul harmonies and jazzy licks) and a couple of others.

Also on the line up are Weird Together (Ethiopian jazz to Ghanaian rhythms and Caribbean dance), AFTA-1 (classic hip-hop), KAIIT (jazz and neo-soul), The Coretet (heady mix of live funk and hip-hop), Afrik Futurism (layers of West African percussion, live synths and infectious rhythms) and an additional two levels of funk, boogie and disco dancefloor-fillers as party of the Positively Positive Party moniker with more live artists to be announced.
