Bugs are a three-piece pop rock band out of Brisbane and today they have released their new highly energetic, fun offering ‘Neighbourhood’, a song that looks at the long gone simple days of not having to “lock the doors, a man walking down the street alone wasn’t a predator to fear for children, you didn’t wear a bike helmet.”

Speaking on the single, Bugs’ Connor adds:

“As a kid I grew up in a regional surf town — I’m not necessarily sure if my attitude has changed with maturity or if the world is a bit more twisted now – people don’t seem as open as they were, our society is afraid of sharing. Giving something up voluntarily is seen as vulnerability so people don’t take the chance.”

‘Neighbourhood’ is a taste of what’s to come off Bugs’ forthcoming six-track EP.
