Bokito is a London-Irish five-piece and today they have released their new single ‘Aloof’, which is essentially about not feeling welcomed at home [Ireland].
Speaking on the creation of the song, Bokito’s frontman Moses noted how the idea for the song came from his “sister and the rest of us living away from home.”
“It’s not a specifically angry or political song but rather just about a feeling that Ireland will never really feel like home again, or at least that’s how it seems currently.”
Offering a mix of gypsy-punk, and indie vibes, ‘Aloof’ is a solid offering that also showcases a folk-esq atmosphere in a pop-filled world.
‘Aloof’ is out on all major streaming services via Lost In The Manor Records from 15 September.
