Tropical Fuck Storm (TFS for short – and featuring Gareth Liddiard and Fiona Kitschin from The Drones, Erica Dunn from Harmony and Palm Springs and Lauren Hammel from High Tension) are a band from Melbourne and today they have released their debut single ‘Chameleon Paint’ and the details of their forthcoming 7″ record ‘Mansion Family’, due out for release 22 September.

The forthcoming 7inch record is part of a limited edition series, which will have a different A-Side and B-Side cover of “songs we love and wish we had written,” by the band.

Offering a mix of punk, lo-fi rock, funk and dry lyrics from Gareth, this first single is pretty good and offers a lot for this supergroup of Australian musicians.

With the release of the new single comes a whole bunch of North American dates the band are going on, which kicks off 26 September in Mobile Alabama and concludes 12 October 12 in San Francisco, California.
