Mesa Cosa (Pablo, Chris, Steve, Ian, Lloyd, Marty and Stew) are band we here at Eat This Music enjoy a lot. Having previous released favourites likes ‘Blood and Brains’ back in December 2016, Mesa Cosa continue to show why this seven-piece are one of the best acts out of Australia right now.

Also having previously released YaYa Brouhaha back in 2015 and Infernal Cakewalk in 2012, Church of the Snake is a great second taste of what’s to come off their forthcoming third record ‘El Es Demons’; with this new entry being a great addition to an already strong stable of tracks.

Offering more of what fans have come to like about the band with their collaborative effort of everyone involved, their fast, hard, and innovative rock, showcasing a wide variety of music and noises throughout the entirety of this four minute and 33 second single.

For fans of Australian music and overall kickass band King Gizzard and The Lizard Wizard, you may be able to ear similarities to Rattlesnake and a couple of other notable tacks form the band; that indirect influence comes from working in collaboration with King Gizzard and The Lizard Wizard’s own Stu McKenzie on the record and animation by the their good friend and amazing animator Jase Harper on the music video version.

Also, finally, to celebrate the release of the single, Mesa Cosa will be heading out on the road from 4 August to 5 August in Melbourne and Sydney at The Tote and The Chippo Hotel in their respective cities.
