Josh Cashman explores making mistakes and finding beauty in those moments in the latest taste of his forthcoming EP

Josh Cashman is an alternative rock artist from Melbourne and he is gearing up for the release of his forthcoming EP. However, before he can release the EP, Josh has been given listeners a taste of what’s to come off the album with the previous release of ‘Listening‘ and ‘Wishful Imagery’.

Speaking on the new release, Josh noted how ‘Beauty In Grey’ is essentially a song about making mistakes and finding beauty in those moments; with the notion of finding and accepting the light in a dark place. Offering more of what fans have come to like about the Victorian artist, Josh uses a lot of acoustic percussion throughout the entirety of the three minute and 51 second offering that showcases a whole lot of work in the way of guitars, drums and Josh’s own vocal work that makes this a really enjoyable track full of harmonic structure and sweet range throughout.

To celebrate the release of Beauty In Grey, Josh is heading out on the road for a single launch on Friday 4 August in Melbourne at the Northcote Social Club. Tickets are now available via Eventbrite’s website.
