Birds (Duane Lauginiger (guitar, vocals), Jessica Reynoza (bass, vocals), Jess Rees (guitar), and Tim Plunkett (drums)) are four-piece rock band from Brooklyn and today they have announced the release of their forthcoming LP ‘Everything All At Once’, which is scheduled for release August 18 via Greenway Records.

To celebrate the release of the album, Birds have given fans a taste of what is to come off the record with their new single, ‘Get Away’. Blending a mix of fuzzed-out mix of psych, pop, and straightforward rock ‘n’ roll, pairing catchy, ’60s-influenced hooks with the blown-out sounds of the ’90s while the album essentially explores themes of joy, loss, and feeling disconnected.

As far as ‘Get Away’ goes, it is a two minute and 36 second jam-packed rock song that offers a lot of grunginess and solid sounding work, while coming off as a minimalistic sounding Best Coast with more surf rock. Get Away is a great addition to an already strong stable of tracks.

Birds’ Everything All At Once is now available pre-order via Greenway Records’ website.
