Not to take anything away from Flume, Anna Lunoe or The Aston Shuffle, because they are all incredibly talented artists, but it is no secret that Alison Wonderland is our favourite Australian DJ and music producer, so we were ecstatic to hear that Alison Wonderland has officially got her own radio program via the American subscription streaming service Sirius XM – the home of Howard Stern!

The brand new show by Alison Wonderland is called ‘Radio Wonderland’ and it is an hour-long weekly radio show on SiriusXM’s Electric Area (Channel 52) in the US and Canada. The radio program is also available via all major podcasting platforms (iTunes, Podcast Alley, etc) in Australia after the airing in the United States on Monday nights.

On the anticipation of doing the show, Alison noted how excited she is to “play every song” that she loves and have a chat with all her friends.

“So stoked on ‘Radio Wonderland,’ I get to play every song that I love and interview all my friends! I’ve also got some surprises up my sleeve.”

The hour show features Alison playing some of her favourite current and classic tracks, while debuting exclusive mixes that she and her friends have created – somewhat like Diplo and Friends on BBC Radio. Segments include: “808’s and Mates”, which features a different guest; the first artist featured on episode one was Skrillex. He picked out some of his favourite tracks during their interview, which took place backstage at Coachella.
