Sydney three-piece Cloud Control are back with a new single ‘Rainbow City’ and a whole bunch of intimate shows to celebrate the new single and what Alister, Heidi and Ulrich have to come in 2017.

On the story of the new single, Alister explained the song is about losing things and how “everyone knows what it feels like when you lose something.”

“We were all in a house on the south coast, Heidi was on drums, Ulrich manning the desk and we just started jamming. Later on we finished it in Sydney with our dear friend MT [Michael Tomlinson, former member of Yves Klein Blue].”

‘Rainbow City’ is the first release form the Sydney indy band since the departure of their founder member and former bassist Jeremy Kelshaw in 2013.

Cloud Control will be heading out on the road to celebrate the release of the new single in Melbourne and Sydney from Friday 2 June at the Howler and Saturday, 3 June at the Oxford Art Factory in their respective cities. Tickets can be purchase here and here.
