With the Surry Hills Festival heading into its 15th year on Saturday, 23 September; applications are now open for bands and artists alike to participate in the festivities on the day.
Surry Hills Festivall is all there is to love about the iconic suburb, highlighting and exploring the area’s history, colourful culture, diversity and community spirit the suburb is hailed for.
This year will see the line up shifted over to the hub at Ward Park and surrounding areas, giving bands, artists and other vendors space to showcase their things.
Band applications can be submitted via the Surry Hills Festival’s website here – Applications close 9th June 2017.
The Surry Hills Festival is a free family-friendly day with music, arts, food, spaces, performances, and many more – showcasing what Surry Hills has to offer the rest of Sydney; as the heart of Sydney.
All funds raised on the day go to community programs presented by Surry Hills Neighbourhood Centre.
