back on January 23 there was an unfortunate event that happened at the filming of Bliss n Eso’s ‘Friends Like You‘ music video that saw one of the stuntmen/actors of the music video die when a prop gun was discharged as part of filming in a scene.
Along with the management at the Coolangatta Hotel, the three-piece are putting together a tribute night on Friday, March 3 on, with all funds from tickets and the night going into a trust fund for Johann Ofner’s daughter.
All the band can do is offer their support in a way they know how to, by putting on a gig and having a good night.
“We continue to offer our support to the family and friends of Johann Ofner who tragically passed away on the set of our music video. We are thankful for his family’s blessing in allowing us to put on this tribute concert, to celebrate the life of this amazing man and loving father.”
With all sales from the night going to Johann’s family, tickets for the show can be purchased via Oztix.
With the news of Johann’s death, Bliss n Eso thought it was only right to make the decision to delay their forthcoming album release to Friday 28 April 2017 – the original release date was in March.
