Following on from Terra’s debut single, ‘Talk Is Cheap‘, Watercolour have released the second taste of what’s to come off Melbourne based pop-punk outfit Terra’s forthcoming debut EP, ‘Wasted Days’, which is due out for release on Friday, March 24.
Watercolour is one of the four tracks available on the EP and it gives the listener a sneak preview of what’s on offer from the rest of the EP. With Watercolour being the first that the four-piece wrote together as a band.
Within this three minute and 42 second track, TERRA took an honest approach to the look at the art they wanted to create and share with the world through the atmosphere they have produced with the use of their combined percussion work, including drums, guitar, bass with the added bonus of tempos and the vocals of their front-woman Cassie throughout the entirety of the track.
About the track, TERRA’s vocalist Cassie noted how the track followed a “theme of art” (sic) and about how people want to make themselves into a masterpiece in an imperfect world.
“It follows the theme of art, and making yourself a masterpiece but surrendering to the fact that no one is perfect,”
Talk is Cheap and Watercolour are both off Terra’s forthcoming debut EP, ‘Wasted Days’, due out for release on Friday, March 24.
