“Being a bunch of dorks who have always fantasised about making a themed calendar of mates, for mates, we ran with the idea when suggested by a friend. Also it was just really fun to make…we commissioned photographer extraordinaire Simon Aubor, and asked him to degrade his highly professional photoshop skills to give us the amateur green-screen look we wanted!”
With four days to go before Christmas, are you in need of a late Christmas present? Well, the ladies over at Lazertits have you covered with a 2017 calendar! With 50% of proceeds going to “an organisation that provides peer mentoring and mental health support to Australias same sex attracted and gender diverse young people,” this is one calendar you should have on your wall in 2017.
“Celebrating pride in friendship and identity, 50% profits from the calendar go to Minus 18, an organisation that provides peer mentoring and mental health support to Australias same sex attracted and gender diverse young people. The remaining 50% will be put towards recording our debut album in April 2017.”
Unfortunately the calendar won’t actually arrive before December 24, so you’re going to have to improvise in the mean time until the shipping day of January 3, but pick up is available in Melbourne from Friday, December 23. Purchase it now. However, in the mean time, you can watch this fun teaser trailer while you wait for the calendar in the mail.
