Seavera (secret identities: Tori Zietsch and Daniel Pinkerton) are a duo from Melbourne and they have released their brand spanking new second single ‘Parallel and Repeat’ off their upccoming debut EP, due out for release early 2017.
A lot of mental production went into the new track in the eyes of Seavera as they envisioned buildings and various elements of Earth.
“We envisioned the song creeping inside the walls of an old cathedral and tried to imagine what it would feel like if it were overtaken by the elements of the earth. ‘Parallel and Repeat’ is an impassioned offering, within it a constellation of frustration and hopefulness, a confrontation with fear, and an open confession to the people we have tried to love.”
Their first single “Caving” and new single “Parallel and Repeat” were recorded across spaces throughout Northern NSW and the hushed suburban streets of Melbourne’s Fitzroy North, and mixed by Grammy Award nominated engineer Andrei Eremin (Chet Faker, Sticky Fingers, Hiatus Kaiyote, Montgomery, The Harpoons, Remi, Banoffee).
“Parallel and Repeat” will be on Seavera’s debut EP – to be released early 2017. However, until then Seavera will be supporting Jack River on tour in December:
Friday December 2nd – Hudson Ballroom, Sydney
Saturday December 3rd – The Workers Club, Melbourne
