Mansionair are a group from Sydney and they have released a new single called ‘Easier’, and a couple of gigs throughout November and December.
Firstly let’s talk about their new single ‘Easier’ before I get to the tour dates. ‘Easier’, is the first cut from the band’s forthcoming debut album, due for release in 2017.
‘Easier’ was written in the living room of Mansionair producer and guitarist Lachlan’s house, according to Jack Mansionair, the track was inspired by a scene from Sofia Coppola’s hit film, ‘Lost In Translation’:
“Easier is written for the moments you find yourself lying on your bed staring at the ceiling and wondering if things will change. It explores the endless piles of questions we can find ourselves asking those around us and the frustration of feeling like you’re going nowhere.”
To celebrate the launch of ‘Easier’, Mansionair will be heading on road throughout November and December in Sydney, Adelaide, Melbourne and Brisbane at the Oxford Art Factory, Fat Controller, Corner Hotel and Woolly Mammoth in their respective cities. All gigs are also 18+, so you know it’ll be more fun!
