The Iron Eye [Nick Lythall – Guitars & Vocals; Antonio Mancini – Drums; David Webster – Bass] are pulling double duty today. They released a new track called ‘Culpa’ and released details of their new EP ‘Foreign Bodies’ which is due out November 18th via the good folks over at Collision Course.
The first time I posted about The Iron Eye was for their first single ‘Just Started‘, which I enjoyed a lot. However, The Iron Eye are back with their second single, ‘Culpa’, from their forthcoming EP, ‘Foreign Bodies’.
Their EP is called ‘Foreign Bodies’ and it is due out Friday, November 18th, 2016. It features five songs, including ‘Just Started’ and ‘Culpa’; I have had the chance to have a listen to the EP prior to launch and I have to admit: It’s pretty good, I am looking forward to giving a couple of them a spin on future episodes of Eat This Music, specifically their title track from Foreign Bodies, appropriately titled ‘Foreign Bodies’.
On the production of the EP, The Iron Eye’s drummer Antonio talked about how it felt to collaborate with Shihad’s Tom Larkin in his studio on the EP, including the direction of tracks:
“Tom was all about the big picture. Even when we were getting caught up worrying about the little details, he always knew where the each song was going, even if we didn’t. He always knew how the record would come together in the end.”
The Iron Eye’s ‘Foreign Bodies’ EP will be available online from November 18th and will be available for pre-order right now at iTunes.
