I received this music from these fine international artists recently, and I thought it was only right to put then all together in one post to share. I hope you enjoy them, because I certainly do.

Three out of four of them I have heard for and features previously on the website. KTLN is a recurring artist on Eat This Music and I enjoy her music a lot, so I am glad to see she is back wit ha new track so soon from her previous two tracks, ‘Theres Always The Other Side‘ and ‘Used To‘.

As far as Death Team, Dia, and Mariam go? They are new to me and I am experiencing their music for the first time. So come on this journey with me.

DEATH TEAM

This is the first time I am hearing music from Death Team, and holy hell are they great! Death Team remind me of HOLYCHILD for some reason. Hipper-than-hip Stockholm duo Death Team (Mayka Edd and Johan Tilli) have today released their brand new single ‘Messed Up’. Incorporating rolling trap beats and huge pop synths, ‘Messed Up’ is a massive anthem for the weekend.

KTLN

I am glad to see that KTLN is back, as I am somewhat of a big supporter of her. “I Don’t Really Do This” is the latest offering from Miami based singer/songwriter KLTN, who taps LA based rapper Sean Brown to cap off her latest single. With origins in Hip-Hop, R&B, Soul, and Pop, KTLN’s lyrics are raw and real. Be on the lookout for more singles as well as her debut EP, “Lone Ranger”, which is scheduled to drop in 2017.

MARIAM

This is the first time I am hearing Mariam’s music, she is great. Mariam is a singer/songwriter and self taught guitarist hailing from South London. Described as ‘atmospheric soul’, her music is the perfect blend of soul, folk and pop with thought provoking lyrics.

DIA

This is an old track from Dia, 11 months to be exact. But that doesn’t mean it isn’t worth sharing. Dia is the stunning project of composer and performer, Danielle Birrittella. Her debut EP, Tiny Ocean, released with Manimal Records, features songs produced by Joey Waronker (Beck, REM, Atoms for Peace), Tim Carr (The Americans, HAIM) and Frankie Siragusa (theLAB). I chose the title track ‘Tiny Ocean’ from her Tiny Ocean EP because I like it the most and her voice is fantastic.
