On January 28, 2017, OZFEST is heading into its fourth year in Australia as one of the biggest festivals featuring Australian music. In 2017, OZFEST is going to be even bigger with well-known names like Ball Park Music, British India, Bec Sandridge, Urthboy, Hockey Dad, Bleach Girls, and more yet to be announced.
Previous years included artists like Illy, The Preatures, Seth Sentry, San Cisco, Allday, Art Vs Science and Kingswood. However, 2017’s OZFEST is going to be a little bit different, according to the festival’s programmer, Ian Smith, they’re focusing on more acts from a diverse range of genres:
“Our key focus for the festival is to ensure we are bringing the best acts possible across a diverse range of genres to the good folk of SEQ…and not for a ridiculous price.”
OZFEST will be held once again in the Miami Tavern Carpark on the 28th of January. Limited release early bird tickets go on sale through Moshtix on the 7th October 2016 at 9am.
Mike Gilbert reminisces about good good times at Miami Tavern:
“We love our music here at the Miami Shark Bar, the punters and the bands always have a great time. It’s just great how OZFEST takes things up a notch and we get to do something really cool right here in our huge car park!”
More artists have yet to be announced and if it is anything like 2016’s OZFEST, it will be two days of great fun and music. Head on over to Moshtix to purchase your ticket now.
