Tigertown (Chris, Charlie, Alexi and Elodie) have released a the title track, ‘Papernote’, from their upcoming EP of the same name, which is due out for release on October 28 by Inertia Music and available to stream on iTunes, Spotify and Google Play.
I actually don’t know a whole lot about Tigertown at all. In fact, this is actually the first time I am hearing a track from Tigertown and I enjoyed Papernote a lot, I can see myself heading on over to their Spotify and seeing what their other music sounds like. I would also like to purchase a copy of their EP when it comes out and review it for Eat This Music and play a couple of their tracks on the program too.
Below is the film clip for Tigertown’s Papernote. It features a whole lot of people being drenched in water, moving vertically and horizontally around the screen. Glass is also involved. I’d like to believe it’s a metaphor for “breaking the ceiling.”
Tigertown will also be playing seven gigs in Australia, where they will be playing alongside Amy Shark throughout December in Perth, Geelong, Melbourne, Brisbane, Sydney, Wollongong and Adelaide. You will be able to catch them at venues like Disconnet, Workers Club, Howler, Woolly Mammoth, Oxford Arts Factory, Wollongong Uni Bar and Jive Bar.
Tickets are now available for all shows from their respective outlets. Or by heading on over to Tigertown’s website: http://www.tigertownband.com/shows/.
